PAINTING “COMFORT MY PEOPLE”

Painting “Comfort my people” (Isaiah 40:1)
People are desolate.
Earth is engulfed in fear, sorrow, pain, and death
In this terrible pandemic,
In this wounded world,
Humankind is crying, lamenting, grieving,
In suffering … we PRAY…
In fear … we HOPE…
In bewilderment … we TRUST…
A light of hope has flared for the universe
Mystery and solemnity …
Today,
Immersed in a deep silence,
Sinking into the pain of humankind,
I hold my suffering neighbors,
Embracing a broken world
In my womb…
The fierce waves are still there
The raging epidemic worsens,
Holy One embrace all and draw all
Into your comforting womb…
Lighting a candle of HOPE
In PRAYER and in SOLITUDE
Contemplate
“For nothing will be impossible with God!”
